Conference was so much fun! I got to go (last minute) with some friends and it was my first time ever actually going to Utah to see it! It was so spiritual in the conference center, I loved it! Such a fun weekend!

Painting! We went and painted these booths for Gilberts constitution day.. whatever that is. But it was a lot of fun! (this was prior to the happy birthday singing at 11:50pm to make sure lexi's birthday lasted allll day long.)

AND- Bams farewell and the day that Robbie got baptized! Great day for all our friends :)

my weekend

Friday- date with the couch while wrapped in my blanket watching Cheaper by the dozen Two.

-sleep, always good

Saturday- Help bro A move into his new house. Im glad he isnt moving out of the ward, I would miss all his stories and his cute old man smile that just lets you know he knows more then you no matter what you talk about because he has lived thru it all. Love him

-come home and hear Susan Hubers sweet voice. I know she was having a hard day, but I truly admire her so much she is such an amazing woman. I love her so much! and the whole Huber clan :D

- clean as every Saturday, and clean my much needed to be cleaned room.. and yet its still not completely clean..

- babysit Lilly, Annie and Tate! Love those kids!

-Have another date night with couch, but this time with ice cream and a movie called Derby Stallion, it has Zac Effron before he was a big star and he wasnt so cute then.. pretty good movie though. Then again I pretty much like any movie.

Sunday - Wake up to mother telling me to wake up

-Lay in bed wanting to sleep more but I cant

- get a text from ashley reminding me we are visiting teaching in approx. 20 min

-oh no, I am teaching the lesson and I havent got a lesson to teach(yay rs message on LDS.Com)

-Go VT with Ashley, met a beautiful woman in our ward. and I mean Beautiful, like most perfect person ever anddddd the sweetest person. Im going to like vt-ing, her I think she will be a good role model for me

- shower

-go to church and love it

- come home and play with the kiddos until dinner starts.

-eat really yummy food, and home made ice cream and cake

- paint nails, becoming a sunday tradition, which I do not mind!

- watch tv with fam

- do homework

-sleep

Exciting I know. I have a sweet life. and I cant wait for next weekend! The Ranch with the family :D

first week feelings

First off- this guy, Bam, left for his mission on Wednesday and I just wanted to say congrats because going on a mission is the most important thing for a guy to do, and I know he is gonna be a great missionary!

(this is the first pic I could find, him at Jr. Prom) we have been really good friends since jr high and its so weird that he is on a mission!

Now.......

Well my first week of college is officially accomplished. It was not as scary as I thought it would be. My teachers seem pretty good and I only get homework in two of my classes usually so thats always good. Its really weird how many old people there are in my classes, at least two people in each of my classes except my honors class are over the age of 45. Im just keeping busy between school and coaching so its been good for me, keeps my mind off all the other things in my life right now.. well thats about all, nothin special, just remembering my first week of college.

Dear Mesa, Arizona:

The place where its too hot to put back your trash cans after they're empty until late, late afternoon. That is unless you feel like getting your hands burnt off.

Where you cant go outside barefoot even across the sidewalk with out the 'oh oh ah ah' sound effects as you try and pick up your feet as quickly as possible to ease the burning

Starting your car with ac up all the way a good 3-5 minutes prior to driving it is a must if you want to be presentable where ever you are going, unless of course you like showing up places sweaty and with a blistery hand from trying to buckle your metal seatbelt..

Where people use umbrellas to block the sun, not the rain

Where if you want any chance of selling a car, the first and biggest thing you post about your cars details is **HAS ICE COLD AC**

vacant parks are seen all around during the day because no child wants to risk loosing their backside down the slide to third degree burns.

Where usual morning jogs happen at either 5:00 in the morning, inside on a treadmill, or not at all, of course if you want to risk heat stroke you may still do your daily run..

Where leaving your child in the car is illegal for sake of them dying of heat..

The place where in a parking lot it doesn't matter how close you are to the entrance; but how much shade you can manage to get covering your car, no matter how far away.

and most importantly where there is NO SNOW!

For that last reason alone it makes it all worth it.. oh how I love our winters, even though our summers are not the most.. well known for nice weather,

my Mesa summer heat ill take you any day over having to ever live in the snow! ..I really hope I never have to live in the snow, I really hate it.

and so college begins..

Monday, that leaves me with only three days left before being an actual college student starts. I am scared. I dont really know why, probably just because its all going to be new to me and I have no clue what its like. Im sure ill be just fine and ill like it a lot. But still, its scary for me. Thanks Staci and Ashlyn for trying to calm my nerves and helping me know more what its like, and yes I am very excited about it and I know I will be fine, just the usual first day jitter bugs, although I get them for two days this time instead of just one.. lucky me. Anyways this is going to be my new home every day for the next few years, im not so overly joyed about that but its life!

I touched JOSH TURNERS hand

So I have this slight obsession with this really really hot guy who can sing sooooooo good and is just so sweet, who happens to be famous, married, and a father.. aka totally unaviable. He still MADE MY DAY.. maybe life, by reaching out and touchin my hand! We went to JOSH TURNER'S concert at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and it was AMAZING! We were only 14 rows back and got to walk right up to the stage whenever we wanted! We did like 3 times, our poor dates were dateless like half the concert when we would leave but it was awesome! During his song WOULD YOU GO WITH ME there is a part that he says ''if I gave you my hand would you take it and make me the happiest man in the world'' and right then he reached for my hand and held it for a second or two, best seconds of my life I seriously almost fell over I didnt know what to do. THENNN dont worry people it gets better, the song says ''would you accompany me to the edge of the sea, help me tie up the ends of a dream, I gotta know, would you go with me'' and he totally sang it right to me in my eyes. Okay ya ya I know he didnt mean it and he does it to all his fans, but I dont care, I was in HEAVEN! man on man can he sing and put on a good show, he is AMAZING in concert!!! anyways dont worry I am back to reality and I know that I would never marry him because I wouldnt really want to, but hello hottie he is my all time fav singer! I was very proud of myself I knew every one of his songs but one because it just came out and yup, I was that annoying girl that everyone probably hates because I sang along with them all, and im sure not very good, because I really was freaking out the whole time he was up there. When he first came out I kid you not I almost cried, my eyes got all watery and I had to try so hard not to, I was just so happy to see him in person! :D Oh and to make it even better when we were going to park the car we totally saw him getting out of his RV, we should have gone over then and taken pics with him I dont know why we didnt.. stupid us. But overall it was AMAZING! I dont know if any date can ever top this one... :D oh and we got t-shirts if you couldnt tell!!!!!
