MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT THE RANCH

IT SNOWED WHILE WE WERE THERE!!! not very much, but still, it was GREAT weather!
We got pine cones off the ground and put peanut butter on them, and rolled them in bird seed! Really easy bird feeders! we decided we probably would kill the birds though because we put a lot of peanut butter on them! :D sorry birdies...
These are the cute kids I got to play with while we were there! Daniel is in the blue, Natalie is behind me, Lauren is in the white jacket, Jake is right in front of me, and Matt is in the red. It was SO fun to see everyone!I haven't seen Daniel, Nat, and Lauren, in about 4 years, so it was soo fun to see them! And come to think of it.I think its been about that long since I last saw Jake and Matt. (hopefully I will go stay with them for a while this summer!) We all sat on this water tank while we waited to go home. the kids were so funny, when we walked in Jake went up to my dad and hugged him, and the rest of the time.. my parents became grandpa and grandma to everyone! it was soo cute. I'm so glad I actually went, since I didn't want to go at first! but I had a blast seeing everyone!!

MY FIRST DATE

Saturday i went on my first date. Trevor Larson was my date! this was our picture we took when he picked me up. And yes.. i had my crutches on my first date.. We went with Garret and Lindsay Killian too! Off we went to GOODWILL, and the boys and girls split up. And we were on our hunt for our dates outfit. (so i picked our Trev's outfit, and he picked mine, same with garret and Lindsay) And this is what it turned out like!
Then, after we went there, well actually we went back to my house to get pictures, and to get the camera to take with us to dinner. Then, we went to Applebees!! it was so fun, we got seated right away, but walking to our table was very.. weird, yet fun. We got the WEIRDEST looks from people! and the guy who sat us was so cool, making fun of us and stuff. But then our waiter.. well i just think he was too scared that that was how we actually dressed, so he didn't want to ask any questions and hurt our feelings. ha ha
Awkward......? these two were so fun to go with!
After dinner we went to Garrets house and watched a movie! Eveone had so much fun! Thanks Trev and Garret, for making it an AWESOME date!

The last 16 years

Yesterday was my birthday. it was just interesting to reflect on my amazing years growing up! This is my picture of when i was blessed.. so only about one month old! I'm pretty sure this was my 4Th grade school picture! (i used to ALWAYS wear overalls... I'm glad that fashion changed!)
8Th grade! with my niece Emily, doing what i LOVE to do! QUADING!
And finally, this year. Crazy how much I've changed isn't it!.. or maybe how much i haven't changed.. you tell me!?

Nephew of the week!

This is my CUTEST nephew POWELL!! He is SOOO fun! ever since.. well i think ever since he could talk i have called him NEMO. i don't really know why. But it has always stuck. I have even heard his mom (my sister) call him it! Nemo is ALWAYS eating something sugary! (note the chocolate on his face) he is such a cute kid, and talks like he is 8. Just very.. not mature but long sentences, and explains things very well. its so funny to hear the things he says. When he is happy, he is the cutest kid EVER, and when hes grouchy.. hes STILL the cutest kid ever!! He is the most amazing BIG BROTHER to his little sister Mia, except he calls her PRINCESS. He is always taking care of her, and plays with her. He told us when they grow up they will get married! (hes only 3) its so cute! i hope he is always this nice to her.. i can say from experience that brothers who are nice.. are the BEST! He is also extremely SMART, his mom teaches preschool at their house, and even though hes not usually there, just having the things in his home and him being able to play with the numbers and letters etc. helps him. He is going to skip like 5 grades in school! .. OK maybe not, but he will defiantly be top of the class! I LOVE YOU NEMO! I'm soooooooooo glad that they live so close to us. Its so fun being able to just drive down the street and see them all the time! Ky and D you did an AMAZING job raising Powell, and Mia!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

My WONDERFUL mom! she is AMAZING!! and the most talented person i know! I get told a LOT that i remind people of my mom, and i used to hate it. Because who wants to be compared to their mom... right? But now, I DO! I realize that is such a privilege. Because she is such a great woman! She supports me in all that i do. And has always been such a great example. She is the most Unselfish person i know, and does everything for others.. and then sits back and doesn't even care if she gets recognition. And i am so grateful that she comes to everything i participate in! Thank you mom for always being there, and for being the BEST MOM IN THE WORLD! I LOVE YOU!

Gemma is soo cute. she alawys has the cutest smile on her face. and gets into EVERYTHING! shes quite the mess maker. and such a GIRL! she loves getting "pretty" by putting on makeup! and alawys plays with dolls, jewerly, ect. and alawys has the cutest outfits on. and is such a good helper. She alawys does what shes asked (hoefully she keeps that up!) Love you Gemmers! - by the way this is my brother Rob, and my sister in law Julies child! what great parents! and cute kid makers! they sure have 3 adorable kids!

JEFF!

This is my Wonderful brother Jeff. He left today to go work in Texas. Its a great thing for him.. and hopefully he will make so money so when he comes back we can go shopping! just kidding. But when he comes back he better not be engaged! He has always been such a great example to me. I love him and am sad that hes gone. Since now i will have no one to have "slap wars" with. Or anyone to make fun of me.. well i guess Tate and Brian are still here. But i always thought it was better when Jeff did it! On the plus side, he only is living there for 4 months! ha ha
