My week.. and a new found love

This week I could finally play VOLLEYBALL for the first time in almost 3 months. You can imagine how excited I was! It was so fun, we went to EXCELL camp. and From about 9-12 we had team practice.. the guy in the pic (Steve) is who our team coach was, hes from Cali! He was the COOLEST! then we had lunch for like an hour.. then from 1-3 we had position work, then we did skits (fun) after that, from 4-7 we had tourney play!! It was A BLAST.. we learned a lot. We finished Fourth out of 9 teams.. not great. but there were some amazing teams there! and we had some problems with people having to leave because of other sports.. and our setter got hurt.. so our amazing outside player filled in setting and did a great job! :D Being crazy in our hotel!

This is my new found love.. okay not really. But since I LOVE flowers.. I decided to try drawing them.. and I think for my first time I didn't do very bad? haha.. these are just a few.. :D

Tates goodbye's..

Sunday Tate gave his farewell talk. It was so cute, and I think we were all amazed at how well he did because he wrote it all on his own! :P Then Sunday night his close friends and family came over to say their goodbyes. Then family, and a couple of his friends stayed for his setting apart. It was such a fun yet spiritual night. Tate and Jeff!

Tate left on Monday with my parents to drive up to Utah to visit some family in Utah before he left. They also went into the Salt Lake Temple. And who knows what else.. haha on Wednesday Tate reported to the MTC in Provo. And begun his mission experience. I know he will be such an AMAZING missionary! I already miss him SO much! But.. time will go by fast, its weird to think I will have graduated when he gets home!

My favorite thing..

When we went to Chicago, there were people all over that would play their instruments. I LOVED it. These ones were outside of Wrigley Field before the game. But what amazed me was the little boy! He was SO good, and kept up with them. It was awesome!!

We went shopping and at one of the malls the Lego store was there. it was so cool, it was like a mini Lego land.. okay not really at all. But it was still cool.

This is the whole reason we went to Chicago. The Hohokams (they run the spring training for the cubs, and my dad is the big ho (president) of it) anyways, they go every year to get their picture taken on the field.. yes we went onto the field. It was so fun!

This is us the second day we went.. we sat in the seats that day (the first day we sat in the.. hmm something suite. but it was an inside thing with a buffet.. etc.)

So me and Tate got to go for the 5th inning and sit right behind the dugout for the cubs (they passed around the tickets so everyone could go) and it was so cool. We were SO close to the players!!!!

These are what i bought there.. i wanted to go shopping, like for clothes. But everything there is SO expensive. And we found this little shop with really cute jewelry, i don't think any of the jewelry was over 8 dollars that i got!! and the sun glasses and purse my mom bought at Marshall's!

Thank you MOM and DAD for a really fun trip!! this is the last trip we got to take with the four of us before Tate leaves for his mission... :'( but it was SO much fun im glad we got to go!!!

Tuesday

So. Tuesday.. Trev called me and told me that on Monday it was gramps birthday. And I didn't know that, so I told him to come over, so we could make brownies and take them to him. Well he did and it was a lot of fun.. oh ya, he also brought me taco bell for lunch!!! So, we made the brownies.. although they didn't turn out perfect.. but that's okay! And we put some aside to take to gramps.. then well Trev took this cooking class or something, I don't really know. And they made this thing.. I don't know if it has a name. But with the rest of the brownies, we took out the middle, but left a little layer on the bottom, then you make chocolate pudding and mix it with cool whip. Then you fill in the hole you made with the pudding stuff, and add in the chunks you took out.. I don't know. Weird stuff. But it was really good actually! haha. Then Colton came over, and we went and took the brownies to Gramps, he wasn't there though, so we talked to Grams for a little while. And then went home, it was a lot of fun! :D

TO SUM IT UP- so last week/weekend we (my Mom, Dad, Me, Staci, Matt, Parker, Rob, Julie, Mason, Tanner, Gemma, Scott, Melinda, Jake, Matt) went to the ranch for our i guess annual fourth of July thingy.. I never realized we always go then. Anyways, it was a lot of fun. the fireworks were cancelled cause of fire danger. And there was a parade.. but right during the middle of it it started hailing SO hard, it killed my fingers and toes. But we still had so much fun together!

Fathers Day, Monday, Bye to Brian

Ok.. so, this is what Mason gave my dad for fathers day! haha, its a waffle with a bite out of it, with little flowers in it, and I don't really know what the green thing is. But it was so cute, and he was so proud of it! And of course my dad LOVED it!
Monday Tannis and her mom were going shopping, and they came and got me! Then we went to Tannis' house and played! This is her hott outfit she bought!! Oh baby!

So yesterday Brian left for his mission in BRAZIL! :( its so sad, yet I am so proud of him! For any of you who don't know Brian, he is my sister-in-law Julies' brother. He has been living with us for I think like 3 or 4 years. Anyways, (I tell everyone he is my brother though, so if you have ever heard me say it, that's why.) He got set apart on Monday night, and it was so amazing. Then we went to the airport Tuesday morning. There were some definite tears but I know he will be such an amazing missionary! HAPPY FATHERS DAY

MY DAD IS AMAZING! About a year ago I had to write an article for a magazine because I was being featured as the "star student" anyways, they asked my who my role modles were and I said my mom and dad this is a little of what I wrote about my dad."My dad is a very good example to me in teaching me things like kindness, leadership, having a good job, and trying to do my best all the time." It was true then, and its still true today. He is litterally the best example to me of all things. I love riding in the car and talking about little things like politics, the Cubbies, his work, how things work in the real world, etc. (even though half the time I dont understand fully what hes talking about, I still love it!) He knows LITTERALLY EVERYTHING. we watch game shows and he knows EVERY question. I always tell him we are going to go to New York and get in the Cash Cab, and he will win lots of money! :D And the music he listens to, I LOVE it, if it wernt for him I wouldnt even know who the beatles, beach boys were, or what any "oldies" song was. Thats pretty much what I grew up on and I love it still! He truley amazes me at how many people he knows, and that EVERY one of them respects him so much. I meet people all the time, and when they find out that he is my dad, they just tell me how wonderful he is! And he never in a million years would he judge a person. He loves EVERYONE, espically my mom! I think its so cute, how every day he calls on his way home from work to see if she needs him to pick up anything, and as soon as he gets home, he gives her a kiss! (aww) Thank you for all you do for me PAPPA! I LOVE YOU!!

My date with TANNER

So, Friday night.. well funny story. We were planning this big girl ask guy thing with our friends and we were going to go to Courtney Cotters house and go eat dinner and play games. Well I went, but I kinda waited a little too long to ask someone, so I didn't have a date. I was with my friend TANNIS during the day and we got the idea, since she isn't 16, that if she went as my date, it wouldn't technically be a date! haha, so that's what we did, I went with "TANNER," it was so fun though, and I'm actually really glad we did it, because if we didn't then I would have not been able to go cause no one could go with me! Thanks Tanner, for being a wonderful date! :D Doesn't she make a great guy.. ok no offense Tan, but I like you so much better as a girl! This is really the only alright picture we got together, cause every time someone would try and take a pic of us we would just start laughing, so we had to do it our self's, but it was still so hard not to laugh!
Okay..This is my favorite picture we took, totally by accident. But we blew out the candle because it was giving the picture a glare, and the smoke just happened to be there.. but I must say, it makes it all the better!!
and this was our wonderful chef who cooked amazing food for us! she wouldn't smile for me.. so this is the pic she gets (sorry beautiful!) Then after the boys left, Lauren, Lexi, Me, Tannis, and Court had a SLEEPOVER!!!! my favorite thing to do! It was so fun just to talk and play, and no surprise to anyone, I was the first one asleep! which they took pics of.. GRR but I deleted them! :D (sorry tan) Then we (as in Tannis and myself) went to Abby Anderson's baptism Saturday morning! It was so fun, I absolutely love baptisms with all my heart, they are my favorite thing to go to, and I go any chance I get! Abby was so cute with her constant smile, but who wouldn't be smiling on the best day of their life!? Thank you Anderson's for the wonderful food at your house after!

5. I love pictures.. not necessarily being in them. But there is no better way to capture moments with the ones you love.. and then scrapbook them!! :D

6. I love necklaces!!!!! - I don't even think I own any earrings or bracelets, not that I wouldn't wear them, but why spend money on them, when necklaces are so dang cute?!?!!!

Girls Night!!
